Default DX tranny

couldn't find info in a search...

the 1 thru 5 gearing is same as an Si, and just the FD is different?

any other differences between a DX and Si tranny?

correct, 1-5 are the same w/ different FD, not sure about any other differences

ok, can anyone give me a tranny explanation? how does teh final drive come into play on a 5 speed tranny? i mean gears 1-5 control the acceleration etc, what does the fd do?

your final drive is the same as a ring and pinion in a RWD car.
