Default My ls/vtec

I'm getting a 90 Integra here in a few days and want to do a ls/vtec conv. to it.
After buying the car I will have about $4,000 to build it with. I want to keep it n/a.

This is what I have planned....

GSR head
CTR pistons
Skunk2 intake manifold
DC Sports 4-2-1 header

16" Motegi MR7's

What can I do to it to get good power gains?
How much will a carbon fiber hood and plastic rear window help me?
How much more responsive will it be with a LSD and lighter flywheel?
What are your opinions on this?

with 4k you don't have many more options....but you probably want to port and polish and hone your engine....and the carbon fiber and plastic rear window will only lighten your ride by about 40-50 lbs. at most, so I would tell you to keep your money

50lbs and if I ake the rear seat and spare+tools out, it could save me a tenth of a second.

Anyways, would the LSD and flywheel help me very much, besides the fact I wouldn't be running peg legged?

Would a Injen cold air intake be worth it or just a K&N Filter?

You think I should just go with a carbon fiber hood, LSD and some Sparco Speed seats?

I'm building this car to mess around in then to sell, so I want it to be appealing as well.

if you want it to look good too, then I would do it....how much do you weight, b/c if you are talking about 50 lbs. taking a tenth of a second off then you might want to get on a diet...lol

With any Ls/vtec setup your gonna need to change the transmission for the best results. The LS tranny sucks for this application...
