Tossing a 97'spec R swap into my 89 CRX...What tranny to use?
Currently i've been running with my y1lsd.And it seemed like an awesome tranny.But i was thinking of putting in an S1 with maybe a Quaife LSD.Would the quaife work as good as an oem honda lsd?And would those gears be too short that it'd hurt my performance?Any insight is helpful...thanks....

Now..the ys1.Is that the one that only came in the 92-93 gsr's?How does that compare to a s1.Hows your mph@80?Im just asking humans rather than referring to charts on the net because i like hearing opinions from personal use.Daily driving...dragging..and lapping.Thanks..

Its all being swapped over to obd1 with a blownhatch90 conversion harness.Im currently at obd-0 on a stock gsr motor.And it runs strong.We're talking 14.0's@98 on a stock motor...on street tires...ripping a 2.1 60foot.So who knows what the R swap,obd1 conversion,and a nice little ecu proggie will do?Thanks for the insight guys...i appreciate it.
