*upgrade* Accord wagon rotor's BRAKE SETUP
anyone know if they sell accord wagon brake up grade kits? i need to get one for my 92accord coupe.. i know it's possble to find all the pieces and assemble it myself. but i dont wanna scout i just wanna buy a complete kit.. if there even is one available... thanx in advace
i think all you need is the calipers and brackets. you can get these through an auto parts store, usually with a core exchange. However, if you get them from a salvage yard it would probably be cheaper, and you won't have to give the old ones up. Then just get some new Brembo blanks and pads of your choice. http://www.nopionline.com has the discs for about $40 each.
All you need to buy is the rear trailing arm from a salvage yard. The wagon one's are nice, but since they are bigger, you may wanna upgrade the fronts to match.
if the wagon is like the accord
order a pair of brembo rotors and get some bigger calipers
you can go with legend, or v6 or even oddessy if i am not mistaken

thanx for the reply's, i was thinking of doing the 5lug swap i really wanted to get OEM type-S rims for my accord (TL type-S). but i just really wanted to get bigger brakes so i could have better braking power.. AEM big brakes is for 17inch rims' and up, i like my 5th gen accord rims so i am not going the AEM route agian thanx for the replys imma do more search into this .

the wagon brakes is a simple upgrade. all you need is the rotors, calipers, and some shims. the caliper will bolt up to the nuckles with no problems. our accord coupe has the wangon front brakes. 15inch wheels will fit. the rotors are the same size as the ITR rotors and the calipers are the same part number. I'm actually trying to adapt these brakes on an EG hatch next with out having to get the very expensive ITR nuckles and hub.

i am doing this converson on my accord and plan on using the parts from a 97+ prelude. i am not completely sure on all the details on this as i am still researching it, but i will need the hubs, rotors, and calipers. i am concerned with the abs system, and the offset changing? if anyone has any comments please post.

They have a kit for $300 that gives you everything needed to do this swap. It comes with rotors, calipers, brackets, ect. from the Accord V6.

i talked to a buddy online who did it with his 94 lx and says all he needed was hubs, rotors, and calipers. he used the rear trailing arm off an accord because he doesnt have existing discs in the rear.
i have a 94 ex so it should work fine. i dont think i need the control arms, cuz they will be positioned differently i believe. i am only concerned with offset, brake lines, and abs system. everyhting else seems to fit right for me, like i said im still doign research on it so i could be wrong.

click above, then click on "4d 4cyl Sedan" or "2dr 4cyl Coupe" in the upper left corner. Then click on "brakes" from the selection at the top. Then click on "Performance" from the sub-departments. After that you will see a title that says "94-97 2/4dr 4cyl 11" FRONT BRAKE UPGRADE KIT". Here's a picture of what it looks like.
Hope this helps.

oh, I thought someone was looking for the AV6 conversion not the 5 lug to 4 lug conversion. Well, for those who want to know where to get it, there you go. Sorry for the confusion.
if you needed shims then you have the wrong parts on your car. I've done this swap personally. Anyone with questions feel free to email me. Or search the site. I've read (and posted myself) a **** load of information on this swap and its possibilties.
