Im a big fan of driving manual cars, but should i go with the auto for this car since there is no manual for V6? Also, what do you guys think about the new accord, and if I do get it, what mod should I get first?

it will be available in 6spd in the 2dr coupe ONLY, not the 4dr sedan. & actually the manual is more like an option, the AUTO comes standard equip. rumors are going left & right whether 1,000 cars will have sticks or 5,000+. & that it is not the same tranny as the CL-S 6spd, but experimental.

nevertheless, the 6spd Accord will go for the same price as a WRX & the EX will be w/ the Evo8. you decide, the I-4 5spd will be under $20K.

wutz up? hey i am in the same boat as you. i have been doing madd research on the new 2003 honda accord coupes cuz i really like them. i went to look at hondas a few months ago and they told me that the standard coupe 6 speeds come out february 2003, so you are in luck cuz it is exactly that. good luck, oh and i think you should definitely go with the standard 6 speed cuz you wanna have fun drivin it and keep it sporty. peace

i heard '03 accord manual 6speed will have crazy markup on it..
and 6sp only comes in ex.. and of course it will be 26k + 5G markup... good luck
i'll rather get cl-s 6speed.

the 6 speed will be VERY rare. so the markup will be significant.

the 4 cyl. is good enough for most of people.

I suggest you test drive each one and decide for yourself what you want.

at Honda-acura.net, this dude posted pics of his 03 v6 coupe AUTO, which was quite a bit over 30k dollars. Just an alert that ACCORDS CAN go that high. Im sure due to the rareness of the v6-6speed and the popularity, it will be marked up. The accord on the other forum had navi system, etc, but damn i was surprised to hear over 30k for the accord. Id get CL-S 6-speed for over 30k.
