Anyone has experiance with 5W 40 synt. oil from germany?
I am not sure the Name but i saw one today at my oil change place..
They says it's supposed to be "racing" oil that they have
It was 5W 40 and they also have 0W 40 too
They both are full synthatic oil
anyone knows what's the difference bewteen 5W 40 and 5W 30 like Mobil 1 synthic

Almost everyone in Europe use 5W-40 or 10W-40. Nothing special here.
I'm using 0W-40 Castrol RS Syntec during the winter and 10W-60 Castrol RS Syntec at the track.....
5W-40 is thicker than 5W-30 at HIGH temperatures. At low temperatures there is not much difference (maybe a little bit).
