This is in for my brother who has a crx, this is what he asked me to find out, so please no flames i dont own a crx nor am familiar with the integra swap, did a search and did not find anything.

"i have a 88 crx dx. i want to drop an integra motor in it. a couple of people have said that i need to change the front suspension to an crx si. is this true?? my dx front end would not work?? or is it jus the spindles that i ll have a problem; wid
i want to do the drop right the first time so please people that have experience with this reply. Thanks"

The DX front end is fine.

 

a good friend of mine did a swap into an 88 civic DX and had to swap to the SI front hubs to allow fitment of Integra axles. I dont know if they are all like that or not. I have purchased replacement axles for my '90 SI and they asked me how many splines, I think it was 22 or 26 spline, I assume the 26 spline would be the one common with integra axles. I would pull the wheel and axle nut and count the splines to see if they are 26. If not, you may have to locate the right hubs to make it work.
