Default i got my estimate....what to do, what to do

so i got an estimate from a honda dealership and a local reputable body shop today. to replace my right front fender and respray/blend both places want roughly $950$

this is a 95 hatch btw

since the OTHER guy's insurance is paying, i wanted to maybe save some cash
so i know i can find good fiting aftermarket fender for somthing like 50 bucks....does anyone know how much it would cost to paint the fender alone? i asked the body shop and they said they can't do it cuz they can't gaurantee the paint.....wtf? that seems bogus

anyway--- anyone that has an idea of what it would cost for someone to paint a new fender and maybe respray my front bumper

thanks

what color is your car?
how bout gettin a used fender that is the same color you would probably save several hundreds.

Cash out and buy a used black fender for roughly 50 to 150 bucks. Leaving you with at least 850...not bad!

Search ebay for 'oem civic fender' or something similar. You should be able to find dealers who will sell colormatched fenders. I just did the same for my EK i pickd up that had a damaged fender.
