Well, I am 95% sure I am getting a WRX!
I went tonight to test drive and work out some deals and it was good. It is a Midnight Black Peal with a wing, for $22,483.00, that is the price without the wing, but one will be put on. I was really impressed with the handling and the power, I think it is going to be a good move. All I have to do now is wait for my insurance quote.
sounds good, good luck with your decision. i was also going to get a WRX or wait for the STI version this year but i have so save money for when i can transfer to a UC so im keeping my teg and making it how i always wanted it. simple, clean and faster.
Sweet!!! are u financing it through the dealer??
And I will always be here!
HT kicks ***! I still have the love for Honda's

Good choice in a car man! The WRX is a fine work of craftsmanship. I want one myself, but I think the next car I will get is a Audi A4 1.8T. Good choice
u might want to wait until the sti is for sale, I would assume that the prices would drop even lower for the wrx. I heard an ad for a local subaru dealer that they had the wrx for 21,xxx and 0% financing here.
you like that car better than your gsr? i'm surprised...maybe its just cuz i've been driving mine for 8 yrs, but frankly, the gsr feels sportier to me than the upright wrx. With the WRX, I don't feel like i am driving a sporty car either...and i have gone to drive them about 5 times now. The tranny feels cheap too (especially with the factory short shifter)
Just make sure you like it cuz you like it and not because its new. I really wish i liked the wrx, it would make replaceing my gsr (currently for sale) a whole lot easier...

Hey, not to be a dick or anything, but how many posts are you gonna make about you and deciding wether or not to get a new car? Just pick one and keep updating it.
i dunno man...i think i would wait for the sti...
if you wait, here are you options:
1) buy the sti, and be ridiculously fast.
2) buy a regular wrx, whose price will drop when the sti comes out, and make that ridiculously fast...
i love wrx's, but financially, i think you should wait.

I am going to fill-out all the paper work, and if all goes well, I should have the car tomorrow. Unfortunately, I will be trading my car. I didnt want to, but I dont want to have to worry about selling it.
$7800 for a 98 gsr?!?!!?!?!?!?!!!!!! I think the dealer has you whipped. put down a deposit on the car and make them wait a bit.
Considering, it needs brakes, wheel bearings, burns oil, and will need tires soon.

Kelley Blue Book value for trade is $8000.
