OBD0-OBD1 ecu conversions
sounds like he's gonna chop off the end off the obd1 ecu and put the obd0 ones on the obd1. If so is a cheap way to go. Downside is if anything happen to your ecu you cant just pop in another one. (no ecu sharing with ypur buddies) upside is that it can be done for insanely cheap.
Sounds to me that he desolders the plugs in the OBD-1 ECU and then replaces them with the plugs from OBD-0. That would look great, but wouldn't that require you to rewire your underdash harness so all the wires go to the right places? Then you could not go back to OBD-0 unless you redid all the wiring again.
