15x7 kosei wheels?
yeah, do a search. i did and it gave my 20 pages of classified ads.
i just want to know a few things:
-i want to use kosei k1 wheels as my street/track wheel with 205/50/15 azenis; the car is a stock R. is the best/proper offset (for kosei k1 in 15x7, 114.3x5) available through tirerack: 45+ or 38+ offset ?
-will i experience any rubbing? do i need a spacer?
-will the wider wheel give a noticeably more stable feel versus 205/50 azenis on oem wheels? we've all felt soft squirm...

I haven't experienced any rubbing (45+).
I haven't experienced squirm since I started off with the 15x7 wheels. Next time we meet up, you can take my car for a spin to see if you can detect any squirm.

no plans to change calipers. i just toss in some fatty race pads at the track.
45+, eh? sounds good.
anybody with thoughts on moving from a 15x6 to a 15x7 wheel with azenis?

Like the other post said, if you don't plan to upgrade calipers +45 is fine. That's what I run with 205/50-15s with no rubbing. Use them for both street and HPDEs.
Aaron,
I just bought a set of Kosei 15X7 probably for the exact same reason you bought them. The wider wheel should be less squirmy with wider tires. (I am running 225/45/15 all around with 5mm spacers in the rear). I'll do a test fit soon and give you the results.

cool dave, i look forward to hearing your thoughts. why 225/45/15? perhaps you could get a wider wheel? i will be using fat azenis.

Ecsta V700 and Hoosiers come in 225/45/15, that's it.
Edit: I'd be interested to know how the 225/45's fit with the spacers also, David. (and what offset you have)

I like that in +45mm offset VERY MUCH. Got two sets of those myself. Here is one set of 15x7 +45mm 4x100 with 195/50R15 Toyo Proxes T1-S for street:
15x7 +45mm 4x100 with 205/50R15 Kumho V70A for auto-x:

ordered the last set silver 15x7's in the +45 mm offset today. they still have Silver and white in the +38mm.

XJOHNX ... hope you didn't forget to ask for Aluminum hubcentric rings... makes things a lot easier, and they don't melt like the plastic ones.
