What would you do? I seriously can't decide. Luckily I won't be doing this for a few months, but I'd like to make a choice and seriously researching pricing, availability, etc. And please don't say, "do what you want, it's your car." I know it is, if I knew what to do I wouldn't ask for opinions

Oh ****, sorry guys! I forgot to click "close poll". Totally my fault, guess there's nothing I can do now. Oh well, sorry admins, have a
Plasma TV for $4k, ha! If you get one of the ones for that price you are getting ripped off. To get one even close to being worth the money you have to spend at least $8k.

LOL, an option of buy a B18C5 for $4000, hahahahahaha, ok, step into reality now.
$4000, I'd pay of the rest of my bills.
If they were paid, build my D16Z6 then install my turbo kit for it.

I would buy an H22 or H23 DOHC VTEC swap from osakajdmmotors and boost it. The swaps are less than $2k and you can piece together a cheap turbo setup. You might go over your $4k limit by about $500 to $1k getting all the parts to do the swap, maybe. You might not even go over if you use your money wisely. Just my personal opinion. Use however you choose.
That would be a pretty good choice. That's a $2200 package and he's only asking for $1900. You could buy that setup and with what's left you could build your top and bottom end and make it bullet proof for safety precautions. Or at least build the hell out of your block so it can handle a high psi of boost if you decided to take it that high.

I have 5k and here's what I am doing:
GSR motor $3,800
$1,200 for headers / exhaust / and maintenance to the motor before dropping it in

3800 is a lot of money for a GSR motor. you could of found a local shop that probably would of done it cheaper then that.
in houston you could get a legit GSR swap installed for 2800. if you know where to go. i got my LS swap installed for 2000, if i had patience to save up 800 more i would of went GSR but i am impatient
