Which is quieter?
I'm looking for a quieter exhaust than my current straight pipe, no res. setup. I was wondering which would be louder on a 2000 Si, an Apexi N1 catback w/ silencer or a Greddy Evo? And how much louder?
The EVO would benifit you better if you have turbo.
I'd go APEXi!
And if you think thats loud, ride in my 93 CX with stripped interior and Tanabe RM...no silencer.

damn if you want a quiet exhaust you might want to look into a Apexi World Sport those things are supposidly just a tiny bit louder then a stock exhaust.
I ended up going with an Apexi N1 catback. With my catalytic converter back in, as well as the silencer, it is really quiet. Nice and deep tone. Without the silencer it's a little louder but still sweet sounding. Way quieter than my previous exhaust setup.
I'm proabably about to get owned for saying this, but I have a 24" resonator and a Borla muffler
It is the perfect volume. Quiet enough to hear engine noise, but still has a very nice fluid sound to it. The advantage of a set up like this is it is still all strait through. The World Sport is a baffled muffler, so it is going to be more restricting. Borla is known for making quiet strait through mufflers. But then again I wouldn't mind selling you an Apexi N1 or a World Sport!!!
