Default Type R flywheel on a Ls

Would a type R flywheel ft my Ls?
I'm lookng for a cheap replacement for the stock one.
What are the dfferences on weight between the two?
and would I notice any differences on throtle response?

do you guys know how much does a TypeR fly wheel runs for? or a better streetable Fly..that aint too pricey?

Looks like $206.08 for a new one from acuraautomotiveparts.org but check the classified section for better deals on a used ITR flywheel.

cooo....do you think it would be a nice addition to my DC headers Greddy cat back exahust...Aem power pulleys and Aem CAI?..or should i go alarm first...

Since you live in UNION CITY witch is in the BAY AREA I would say get an alarm. Bay area has real theft problems Especially with integra and hatches. But the ITR flywheel is a worthy upgrade for you. In my opinion, just save up for a 12 pound, your going to drop your trans so you might as well get what you will eventually end up getting later.

Drop your trans= your going to go through the effort of either paying someone to take off your tranny or do it yourself. Its not a small job (not a HUGE job either) but might as well do it right, Especially if you will be paying for labor on that job.

I'd personally go lighter. CM or Fidanza - neither is a whole lot more expensive than the quote given for the ITR FW.
