i was knocked the **** out ready for work today..when my cousin woke me up and said some ******* tried to steal your car.
. i went out and saw my hood was popped up..key hole jimmyd, ignition box torn off. battery ground un did..they also unscrewed the 2 screws that held the ignition wires [on the left side under the head light controls] i put the screws back in and now this son of a bitch wont start..i checked all my wires, spark plugs etc...any idea of what to look for next?????????????i have school tmorrow and i need my education!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my ignition when they stole my civic. Did you call the cops? I don't really know anything bout ignition. right now my car is in the shop getting fixed. Good Luck!

 

I would check all the fuses because they probley shorted something out.

 

that was funny. you were extremely ready for work, werent you? what year is your civic. if its 99+ w/ keyless entry, you might be out of commission for awhile. did they steal your radio? did you put the ignition back together correctly?

 

yeah check the big green fuse in the engine bay. Its the one you need to unscrew from both sides. Thats the one that blew on mine when thieves busted the **** out of my ignition....those *******

 

Call a mechanic like the rest of us do. That's what insurance is for.

 

 

Damn, that sucks to hear about your car. However, I am not sure what to do if you can't get the ignition working. Check the fuses like everyone else said and make sure all the ignition connectors are plugged in to their proper locations under the dashboard.

it's a 92 cx with b18b1..i dont know why they wanted it..i thought everyone else was into dohc vtec n ****!..any ways they didnt really **** anything up..all fuses and wires are cool...just wont ****** start ..i got a couple of ADT alarm installers to help push start my car and it runs. But with the key start im fucked...bad starter? oh yeah i just replaced the distributor rotor. <

 

does it actually crank or you got nothing at all? if it doesn't crank, you can always jump the starter with jump start cables or 2 screwdrivers, watch out tho, it can burn your hands but if you really need to start it up.... or even better, get a friend to push your car and start it like that. I use to start my CRX alone in 4th gear heh. good luck

 

checked out the starter, and everything is kosher now..just gotta find those bastards and bash their heads in

yeah..they popped my hood and disconnected my battery wires and cut my serien wire...shitty alarm ..time for upgrade ..ak47!

 

I think it might just be a fuse.
