I have a complete 2000 si in my garage and I was thinking about attempting to add cruise to my hatch. Question is, what exactly is involved? I know i will need a switch, steering wheel control, motor assembly, pedal assembly, and what else?

Is there a module or a computer? Will I have problems making this work since I am still useing the 96-98 OBD2 elec system instead of the OBD2.5 used in the 99-00 model?

Also, can I get a yes or a no as to which the dash pad is the same on the 98 and the 2000? I could really use the dash, mine is all scratched up.

Sweet! How much did you pay for it? There is a computer for the 92-95 cruise controll. Will the pedal asembly fit on the 5th gen from the si? Why do you want to do this swap? Sounds like more trouble than its worth, but good luck.

 

I got the SI for 3800. It was hit in the front and blew the bags. The radiator was fucked, and so was the a/c condenser, but the car started right up, I was sold. From the motor back was complete, even the wheels.

There is a guy here in new orleans that buys wrecked SI's daily from an auction. As of two weeks ago, his junk yard had 14 of them, 8 of them are salvageable, the others, just an amass of parts.

What I need to know is if I can just get the computer/pedal assembly/controls/switch/etc. and plug them into my dx harness. I really miss cruise control, my old del sol spoiled the **** out of me.
