It all happened 3 days ago when i was racing my friend on the freeway and i redlined 2nd gear and shifted into 3rd and it sounded like my spark plug wire popped out opened the hood and they were still connected and then my motor started to make a knocking noise...........well i figure i spun a bearing or something of that sort.............this d16a6 was blessed i did the quarter mile at 15.5@90 with only i/h/e.............ohhh well guessing its time for a sohc vtec...................well thats all.......thanks for reading

 

SUCKS...... to redlining 2nd gear...

 

what is so bad about redline 2nd, when i race i redline all my gears, and i also powershift too

 

i have a 89 but i dont see anything different
