im doing my emission tomorrow and i put back my stock cat and stock headers.
But after i put it on, i notice that i have a small exhaust leak before the cat. it doesnt sound like it but oyu can see the leak a lil.

here is how it looks:

Engine ------ header -------leak ------ cat------muffler.

i have VAFC, B&M fuel regulator, msd 6al and intake right now.

i will put my settngs to 0 for the vafc and put the fuel to 38psi and run a LS ECU (instead of chipped P28)

any tips?

 

retard ign. timing to 14 deg. BTDC. It helped bring my HC output from 500 to ~400

 

did you put the donut thing back onto your stock header ? that might be the reason for the leak .

also leave your car running when you get there and let it run until the test starts .

yea donut is on there.
i guess i didnt tighten the bolts with the spring.

the leak is not that noticable since my exhaust is loud, i only notice it coz i jacked up the car.
