OK i dont remeber if it was here or another accord forum that I read about and easy way of making or f22 block turbo by getting your hands on a dsm talon turbo kit. I really dont remeber everything that i read but I do know that it has been done and i just wanted to know if anyone else read this or remebers any of it b/c I am thinking of doing it b/c I got a friend wit an intercooler-the intake mainfold for a talon- and a turbo for a talon. everything else ill just find or buy new, but this is just for now just to have a little extra go wit the show under the hood and that sweet sweet sound of a a BOV!!!! Well any info or insight on this, i'd would greatly appricate it. Thanx.

 

Ok first off most people are probably gonna refer you to a search... not a bad idea and you may wanna give it a try.

As far as the topic... people do put together budget kits from dsm parts adapted to fit the honda's. I am asuming this is what your refering to.

Reading up in the forced induction forum will be of major help to you. For example what basic components make up a turbo kit and how it all works is always a good start. Also there is great DIY info for the people trying to save money, got to have good mechanic skills though usually.

Anyways you could use the turbo and intercooler without a problem. The intake manifold would be more trouble than its worth, unless it is close bolt pattern and design... doubtful but possible. An exhaust manifold is a good place to try and save some money but I would check out some internet deals for best bet.
