Mine does. I have 76,000km. It's been in storage since November. Whenever the car sits for a long period of time, the smell will start to come back. I have never used an air freshner nor eaten in the car.

Don't know about you guys but the ITRs that were sold here has an almost nausiating new car smell. Mine lasted pretty strong for 2 years and now it only comes back after the car has sat for a while. I'm thinking buying new floor mats in an attempt to get some of the smell back. I'm addicted to it. It brings back so many memories....

When I bought my 2000 ITR in March of 2002 from BlackDragon, it only had 9600 miles on it and it had the new car smell. Lasted for about 4 months. I attributed it partly to the fact that it was never driven in the rain or left outside in the rain, and barely sat in at all

Now it's all gone

 

Mine still smells new as I have lost my licensce for 6 month and I haven't drive it since then

 

I am the 3rd owner of mine, so I'll have to say no... it doesn't smell new anymore

No it does not smell like new...smells like the strawberry pine tree that I left the last time I drove in it

i just brought my car outta storage today...my car smells GOOD!...and it drives well too

 

Mine smelled new for about 3 months and then the smell went away. Then I bought Recaros from zerozerotyper and my car smelled so good for a month then it faded away. Only smells like fart now.

 

don't fart in your car and it should smell fine...

00FBP w/ 16K miles, no rain, no snow. Some reason after installed a set of JDM Recaros from a 96 specR a yr ago, it gives out these smell from the material that every one who sits in my R asked if its a new car from this smell.

 

For a long time every time I sat in my car it had the new car smell. Now it doesn't but still smells pretty fresh and clean.
