I went to a speedventures event at Laguna Seca on thursday and friday with my friend Brendan. We broke two wheel studs while we were there on Friday, so we had to leave a little early. Other than that, Laguna Seca is a really good track with fun elevation changes and scary cement walls. Here are a few pics. Enjoi!

How did you fare against the Porsche?

 

did you get any pictures of the red hatchback that was ugly as hell with stickers all over it?

the owner was probably standing on the hood screaming "show cars suck"

and you probably would have seen him in the dirt for 30% of the day

(just screwin with ya chad )

 

The Porsche got passed along with some Corvettes and Vipers. I ran in the beginner group because I have never been to that track before, so I didn't to run in the fastest group. I have been to other track events with my car, I am not sure on the drivers of the other cars.

Brendan get the SS on in time?

 

Some how my lugnuts vibrated loose, even though I retorqued them after every session, and it broke one stud...then another. So I am now in the process of replacing them with longer ones.

 

Are you ussing hub-centric rings with your wheels. If not thats what probably caused your wheel studs to break.

No, he called me and told me they didn't fit and he wanted to use my car. So he did, and free track time at Laguna Seca for me.
