87' CRX questions, need feedback
well, i have an 87 crx with a complete LS swap...(engine,tran,brakes) well we still haven't gotten the engine cranked cause we can't figure out the fuel issues. We can't figure out how to hook up the integra fuel pump without running new fuel lines.
I dunno what to do with this car, i'm trying to decide on if i should sell it or just keep working on it. i've also considered pulling the engine and just selling the swap.

Hey, not sure if I'm "allowed" to do this, being a newbie and all (can't use the
IM feature) If you are having troubles with your 1G, check out www.redpepperracing.com/forum. It's a forum dedicated only to 1G CRX
and 3G Civics. There is a bunch of there who have done swaps, maybe your fuel
problem can be resolved there?
By an "LS swap" do you mean a D16A1/ZC or LSVtec?

If the car is a Non Si you need a all the Si fuels lines, SI fuel pump and I think gas tank to run that motor.... the non Si models were carvbed, they dont require massive amounts of fuel pressure so the lines are smaller and the pump is differeng in the gas tank..
I think you can get away w/o the SI tank, but you need pretty much all the SI fuel sysems stuff....
Did that car come with a HASport engine harness? Or was it at least rewired for FI? I know its a damn mess to get that thing swapped over w/o buyin a premade harness...
Check out redpepper... great forum... strickly 3rd gen Civic/1st gen Rex forum.. those guys can help you out with tech more then over here... its rare to find old school honda guys on this forum.... pretty much all of em Ive seen are members at Resource.crx.org and Redpepper.

LS as in b18b1,
and it did have a carb in it. what we were trying to do was use the pump off the integra, just mount it under the hood somewhere and run the 2 lines. but we are having trouble there... it seems theres only on line coming from the tank. which means we would have to run a return fuel line.
