While I was under the car earlier today, I tried to locate the knock sensor (had the code 23 since I bought the car with swap). And while I couldn't see it, I felt for where it should be and found a plug. I pulled the plug off and the rest of the wire came with it...wasn't connected to anything .

What I'd like to know is, is this the correct plug for the knock sensor on a B16A? There is a seperate piece that fits inside the plug that can be removed or attached (as shown in pictures).

ya thats the knock sensor alright... the housing is bolted into the back of the block. to get it out you'll need a 22 mm deep socket or wrench i believe.

just try sizes tell you get the right one... its not that hard.

 

Well, I'm asking because I have to buy the socket. My socket set only goes as high as 19mm.
