to my dropped 5th gen Accords
I have a 97 Accord with 18" rims that I want to drop a few inches. What size are your rims and tires? How low are you dropped? How much camber correction do you have in the front and the back?
I'm on stock EX rims, painted gunmetal rims. Riding on Tein HA full coilovers, at the bottom of the coil, dropped 3". No rubbing problems. Rarely bottoms out during normal driving (driveways and parking lots are different).
18x8" Lensos, dropped 2.5-3" (usually 2.5" so i can get over speed humps easier), kmac springs and Koni yellows. Havent adjusted camber because i couldn't be bothered, tyreshavent ben on long enough for me to notice any abnormal tyre wear.
i'm also on tein HAs, as low as they go, with both 215/40-17s (summer), and now 195/60-15s on prelude si wheels. i have no rubbing on either set of wheels and tires. i have an ingalls front kit, corrected b/t 2 and 2.25° (with a lot on hammering out on the fender well, and the control arms shaved a little). the rear is corrected with washers, 4 on both sides. the front is barely out of spec, but i don't want to correct it anymore for fear of it hitting, and the rear is in spec. the front is corrected very close to completely, so my tire wear has decreased significantly. oh and with a car this low there are many annoying problems with driveways, and going over speed bumps has become an art, one tire at a time. if you plan on being low, plan on scraping. our accords have frame guards in the front, and a subframe brace that runs parallel to the header that protects a lot. my header is still dented, as is the section of my exhaust that runs under the rear suspension. it's just part of being lowered and living in an area where construction crews leave 3" lips on highways when they mill before paving. having my car lowered keeps me doing the speed limit most of the time for fear of things coming up that could cause damage. before i had the teins i was holding my breath when i saw some potholes and huge rolling bumps, so if you're going to lower your car, you should definitely buy quality.
I'm on stock EX rims painted graphite and dropped 2.5 inches on Sprint springs and Tokico Blues. Camber is off in front, not sure how much yet, got to get an alignment. No rubbing of the tires at all.

I have a 94ex coupe w/ pro-kit and kyb-agx. Some people don't even think it's dropped at all... it's pretty mild. Also I'm riding on 17" O.Z. Superleggeras w/ 215-40 Parada-Spec2s. All I needed was alignment. Tire rotation is your friend.
