No disrespect "bronzeJDMhatch", but your wheels are the new Honda-Tech trend wheel. I know you have had yours for a while, so I'm not directing this at you...Just making a funny observation.

Biters.

plenty of originality left ....maybe its cause i dont live in Cali, but i bet the average person, car enthusiast or not thinks the Type X is ugly as hell. JDM is the new craze i will admit, but these rims will never be popular ......using the search found me about 5 different pics ....5!! out of how many members?? If they are being bitten bad I aint seeing it. And no one should build a car strictly on being original. When that happens .....well an integra with a bimmer front end and lexus back end pops up. Build the car how you like it, not so that your different then everyone else. Originality is great, but buying new rims just cause 5 people on honda tech have them?? i dunno .....just my opinion ...if you dont agree .......at least my thoughts are 'original' and 'different' from yours

Had these wheels on various cars since early 97, including two CRX's, two Integras, a Civic coupe, and various shop cars for race events. Very tough wheels, light, and not too common.

I have wanted a set of those since 97 when I saw a set of black ones on some guys integra, but I just stuck it out with my stock gsr rims. that seems to be the route that no ones takes

Please don't try and read into what I wrote and take what I said and twist it. That really bothers me when people take offence to comments not directed towards them. Did I say everyone that owned these wheels are not original? I don't think so. I simply said the SSR Type-X is the new Honda-Tech trend. Just like the SW388/Slipstream was for a while on here. I did not say everyone in the real world has them, I did not say I see a set every two weeks. I didn't even say they were not nice wheels. What I did say was it seems thats so many people are looking for them, and want to copy what they see.

Obviously you feel compelled to take offence, so be it.
