People who changed their clutch master and slave cylinders. I need your help
Hey guys, I tried to change my clutch master and slave cylinder today. Everything was going as planned until I tried to take out the nut holding the master cylinder in. The bolt that holds the master cylinder tight near the clutch pedal.
How do I take this bolt out. The one that is in the upper left hand corner?? I could get a socket in that tight space. Any ideas?? Tricks??
Also, what is the best way to bleed the system?? At the slave cylinder??
Thanks

Luckly, I have extended warranty so I didn't have to do it myself in this subzero weather. But maybe this post may help somewhat. If not, you can always try PMing this guy.

By the way, didn't you say you had problem with your cltuch last October...?

LOL. Actually, those are the exact instructions I used to do the install.
And YES, I did post about this back then. LOL That's funny you remembered. I FINALLY got around to installing it today. The weather hasn't been that great to do it myself.
Thaks for the help.

I never did take the bolt off the clutch pedal, I just left it on there and used it whenever I installed the new master cyclinder....
You'll bleed the fluid out of the slave cylinder that is bolted to the front of the block.
