Or we could just use "Search."

Looks good.

Lemme guess..take apart the corner, paint the inside black, put it back together?

Well that's what I did like 5+ years ago

Bake them in the oven at like 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until the glue is soft. Pull apart, but leave the glue on there.

Paint the housing or tint the lense, whichever you want. Put peices back in the oven to heat up the glue, and smush back together.

Just leave them in there until you can separate the lense with a screw driver. You should be fine. I've seen many people do it.

I tried baking mine and they melted, LOOOONG before I could get the lens off.
I just painted the outside and clear coated it. Still looks ok.

Really? How long did you leave them in? I believe the key is high heat, for a short length of time....anyone else have any input?

yep..that's what I did.

~ 475 for like..3 minutes. You can smell the glue start to melt! That's when you gotta take it out I tried 350 etc..took so long it never melted the glue, just the plastic!

Or if you start out with aftermarket corners, most of the time those will pop right off with just a flathead.

BTW, bro, we're not trying to jack your post! Your corners look good, and so do the headlights!

i did it the safe way with a heat gun heating up the edges and getting the glass lense real hot to peel away from the glue

I had it on 400-450 for about 4 minutes, but my tabs started to melt. Maybe I had a really cheap set.

I tried the screwdriver after this, but that didn't work either because they had a lip that would just crack.
