need help from you guys once again
where is a good shop that you guys would take your car to for engine work in
PA
it has to be near State College Pa
car needs to be towed

 

Uh, I live here, and there are none really. Half moon valley towing might be able to do some stuff for you. DL Auto really doesn't do anything except domestics (well ok they won't sleeve, port & polish, etc).

Best bet is down near carlisle, there's two shops. One called Kauffman's and one called Dynamic Motorsports. My old manager who keeps in touch knows the guys at kauffman's pretty well.

BTW> What exactly are you looking to get done? What year, etc.

You can also get a refurbed head from any number of sources including a dealer. There should be a machine shop that can do it fairly close by. I'm assuming that you could do the rest of the work. The final option is a crate rebuild of the motor if you are keeping the car.
BTW: There is a shop near Baltimore with a large number of engines. Don't know who they are-just a thought.
