2 words: MPFI swap (Okay, I guess MPFI isn't accually a word)

there's a ton of info about this on this site, and you can perform this swap to your current engine so when your ready to put a new engine in, it'll just drop right in.

i'm about to do a similar swap, except in my crx dx with a d16y7. however, i was considering the zc or d16y8 awhile back. you'll have to convert to mpfi. find yourself another cable tranny, or you can even use your dx tranny. people prefer the si from what i've read on. there are quite a few threads on this subject, so a search would help you better.

If you're doing a lot of freeway driving, you might want to keep your DX tranny (higher gear ratio).
If you're racing, or just running around town, get an Si tranny, but be prepared to be cruzing at around 4k rpm @ 80mph in 5th gear.
