Best place to ground a relocated battery?
I need help. My car sputters once in a while, and I've been told it could be because the ignition isn't getting enough power because of faulty grounding. Where do you guys who have relocated your batteries have the battery grounded to?
Mine's on the rear strut tower now. Any other suggestions?

On mine, i bolted it under the carpet in the trunk to the brace for the jack, sand it and bolt it to one of the holes that are already there, so no drilling is needed.
It works perfect on my crx.

Do what they said above, also, make sure you have good ground wires going from the chassis to the engine. One going from the radiator support to the valve cover bolt as well as one going from the tranny to the frame underneath where the battery used to be located.

I ran two grounds. One to the post where the spare tire hold down bolted in, and the second one I ran all the way to the front of the car to the factory location. Works perfect.

only one from the negitive post is good, 2 is over kill casue a "Ground Wire" is suposed to be a short as possible and a wire from the back of a crx to the front of the car wouldnt even work....
Of course it will work. I only had the one ground to the front of the car for months and it worked great. I have an Optima battery and it has to separate posts for + and -. Each ground is connected to a separate post.
if you can, ground everything to the same post
i work around static sensitive parts and around here everything is grounded to 1 copper post.
