Default 98 Door lock problems

I recently had a dead battery on my 98 accord. I jump started the car and now the power door locks do not work. The fuse checks ok. This has happened before when ever the battery goes dead, but for some reason a couple of days later the door locks start working. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your not the only one, my mom's got a 98 and had her car serviced, she get's it back and calls me saying the door locks are broken, so she made another appt and before we got the chance to take it back they magically started working again. No problems since. Anyone else have a clue?

you need to reset the multiplex system.

I'm looking for the link I had on the how2, I think the server might be down. I'll post it up when I find it.

to reset multi-plex- turn key on, then take your wiper delay switch and slowly go from slow to fast and then put it back in the center, locks should work then if that was the problem.

The lock system is really weird on the accord. I have a 2000 EXV6 and on several occassions the doors locked by themselves. I figured out that it only happened when the car was in park, engine running, and when my cell phone rang. Anyway, it sucked cause I had to have AAA come out and jimmy open my door when I left my car running with the cell phone in it.
