which one is better for racing? drag racing? road racing? baja racing? wheel chair racing?

B18C -- cylinder head can't compare to a B16 head. the bottom end is fine, but that head's gotta go.

B18C5-- costly, most people say it is worth it.

B16-- cheapest, best way to get started. you get your swap in, get all the parts necessary to get the car running with the swap. to upgrade, put in a better bottom end.

use the search function before asking a question, you will learn a lot before you ever need to post a question.

Cylinder heads are nearly identical, get the myth out of your system, the GSR will slightly outflow the B16 at higher flow rates. You can use the search function to find out more about this.

The 16 will take the most high RPM abuse because of it's better rod/stroke ratio.

Like the peeps said above, hte b18c1 is a better motor because of the flow characteristics. but it depends on your wallet. i'd say if ur starting out, go with the B16a and upgrade from there. the b16a is a good platform to start from.

wheel chair racing
hahah
b18c sits lower, will scrape on the ground more if you have ur car lowered, and will sit higher depending on what mounts you get, you will need a new hood with a b18c
needing a new hood with a b16a depends on what mounts u use, but would still be recommended.
u could always get a b16a and get a stroker kit. (2.0 L I think you can get)

B18C will weigh more because it's slightly taller. Probably not too much though.
