ITR Expo Advanced Group
Damn, this place has gotten all gunshy lately!
Looks like I'll have to take the splash shields off and run some brake duction to keep up with the rest of you guys.

I was trying to do some research on the "competition", luckily it seems most in this group are pretty well known on the board (with one or two exceptions).
I've met more than half before at one time or another, and am looking forward to meeting the rest (as well as everyone else there those days).

It is most difficult for those of us who have never run with other members of the run group.
How can one gauge his own level of skill without knowing the abilities of his peers?
I am thankful that Trey has already stated that there will be the opportunity to switch run groups over the course of the weekend.
Reid - who will blame the car for his slow driving... j/k

Ed - I was checking it out also.
It's a very "experienced" group (just a nicer way of saying old
)
Ausmith - who still has quite a bit of prep work to do for the event

Please do not run over me. I'd appreciate it.
I am already nervous.

Relax George, body damage does nobody any good!
After all ... this is NOT a race or anything.
People just need to take it easy the first couple sessions and get used to the track,
as well as remenber that tires and brakes need to warm up a bit before they're fully effective.

You don't need to be fast or have R comps to be in the Advanced Group. You just need to have experience and be safe.

fast usually = more fun
and driving with other safe drivers definately = more fun
To answer your other question, my ITR is basically stock and I'll be on Azenis.
Speaking of... will my 7"x2.5" ERS springs on the hatchy fit on the R? Will my GC sleeves from the hatch also fit on the R? I don't think the Konis will fit on the R, so the next question is, will 450/550lbs ERS springs ruin my stock R shocks for just a weekend of fun?-Ben, who doesn't think fun in an ARR necessarily only = fast as much as = handling very well

The front Koni's will fit. The rear Koni's will not fit.
They probably won't ruin your struts, but you will be no where near the proper dampening.
I think the Expo is going to be very fun!

You'll have more fun at EXPO if you're just learning the track, rather than trying to adjust to a new suspension setup.
Remember that modified does not always mean faster if you can't make good use of it.
I'd recommend you use what you currently have at EXPO and concentrate on having fun rather than going fast. After all, this isn't a race, it's a lapping session. Tenths don't matter.
Yes the springs will fit.

Well I'll have a set of Azenis, so maybe I'll follow George an try not to get run over.
