battery light

Default battery light

i have a 86 civic si and the battery light comes on sometimes but the around 3500 rpm it goes off...sometimes if i take a hard turn it goes off as well. The light isnt on all the time but just comes on every now and then. I cant figure the ****** out! i have a new battery so it should be old and the posts are connected..wtf?

the battery light is for your alternator. make sure that your plug and your connection to your alternator are secure, and if they are, maybe it's a sign of your alternator going bad. if it's not either of those, it's a bad ground somewhere along the line. good luck.
