ok i'll be drivin on the freeway and my car will just stop reving.it is totally random and it is in 4 and 5th gear i have to let the rpms go down to like 2000 before it will rev up again .what the hell is wrong with it???

my car did that a couple of times before... i just pop in in neutral rev it once or twice and it goes way up to redline, then pop it back in 5th and she works great.

I think it has something to do with the ignition system. Not sure though. Since i've owned the car (6 months). it's done it twice... the 2nd time was because i forgot to put my CAI in to short ram mode durring a heavy rain I saved it from hydro lock when i realized it htough

I dunno what to tell you honestly. If it does it more than once every couple of months, it's something to get looked at. Check all your fuses (fuel pump fuse etc). Make sure there are no wires from the fuel pump grounding. Check your ignition distrib, wires, and spark plugs.
