Coolant drain bolt on 98 EX?
Just wondering if it's the same location as an archived post detailed.
Up and to the left of the oil filter. My helms manual shows it left and to the bottom of the oil filter but there's no bolt there. If it's above that little ledge, how does the coolant effectively 'drain'?
Thanks!
ps. are the coolant and oil drain bolt washers the same?

no I do not believe the washers are the same, not real sure where the plug is located
the pic I lloked at has it over next to the oil filter and being a 12 mm bolt with a 28 mm sealing washer

I guess the idea is that it will drain most of the coolant outta the block. It would be pretty hard to get all of it out
