Hey what's guys!!! I just took my car to emission testing and I failed the 25mph part. This is what I have on the car: AEM CAI,JDM 4-1 header,Adrian Teo (carsound) hi-flow cat, Thermal R&D exhaust, and VAFC that hasn't been messed with. It's still stock setting for my car. Some of my friends think it's bc of the hi-flow cat. Can anyone suggest something for me to pass legally?
Thanks for taking time to read this.
NOTE The car hasn't been driven the last 6 months...I started it probably 10-15 times within that period of time.

What's your timing at?
Drop it back down to 15-16 for emissions testing.
Could try leaning out the VAFC a little bit.
Otherwise, if you don't want to mess with the settings ... esp if the car is othewrwise running to your liking, just have them run another car.

Make sure you drive the car around for a good bit of time before you do the testing, this will get the cat nice and hot, and functioning properly.

If not I have a friend who has a hookup on emissions and they're gonna run another teg and use my info.

Doh! lol
Could it possibly be due to the fact your car hasn't been "driven" in a "while"???
<--- Cliff who thinks that might be part of the reason if not the THE reason.

Has the car been well maintained?
It seems odd that your car should fail with such minimal modification, especially since with said modifications it should run leaner than a stock ITR (provided the VAFC has not been played with).
You should be able to get it to pass with some careful tuning. My hondata-dealing, Acura technition friend got his car to pass without a cat.
