Default 2001 Accord EX Tranny...

well after the tranny in my 01 accord blew up (not literally ) i broght it back to honda and they were not very helpful or nice. i have since filed a complaint with honda usa about their service and customer support.

basically they tried to blame the tranny on me and tried not to cover it under warranty. all this AFTER i recieved a letter in the mail about the extended warranty on my tranny...go figure.

after some talking they took the car for repairs and gave me a loaner car. now this loaner car was GREAT. No PS, No AC, 13" wheels and it smelled like dog crap inside.

after 1 week of absolute torture, i get my car back and it feels like a new car. after this i dont think i will be buying another honda. i dont know if it is just this dealership, but their customer service stinks!!!! i just think that honda is getting too big for its britches.

Yeah, you probably got a bad dealer. But filing a complaint to Honda USA is a good thing. Too many complaints (justified) could make them loose their Honda concession.

Yeah I know what you mean about the service. Every time I brought my car in whether it be a check engine light, or the tranny slipping, they always told me I was "imagining things" or I was not taking care of my car! Changing the tranny fluid every 10,000 miles I guess is not taking care of it! It took them forever to admit there was a problem with the tranny. Finally I get the extended warranty in the mail, so I figure to go shove it in their face, lol. Well it so happens they did not have any loaner cars available for a week and a half! So nonetheless I skipped that. My personal experience with Honda service has not been that great, but hopefully the ones in my area will improve.
