Default HID Projectors.

How much does a pair of HID projectors go for roughly at a junkyard?

Are they reasonably easy to find?

Are projectors all created equally, in that the size are the same?- Will BMW/Audi/MB projectors fit in 3G Integras?

Which ones provide the best output?

best output is the S2000.. i have E46 projectors on my car and they light up great..

no not all are created equal.. if you get 1 projector, get the other one to match.. if u have like, 1 E46 projector, and then one from an audi s4.. the beams will be different, not to mention the S4 projectors do that color flicker thing and the e46 projectors usually stay one solid color.. and also, not all projectors are the same size.. some have a bigger front lens than others, plus the projector units themselves differe in size.. if you get one, get another one that matches it..

i dont know about junkyard prices, but you can usually find a lot of bmw & audi projectors WITH HID for under $500..

I undertand that I would buy a set (2) of HID projectors to retrofit and not mix and match say an X5 and S4 projector.

Anyways I only need the projectors, and will the S2000 ones be plug and play? Or any other brand that I just need to take out and swap?

The less hassel the better, I dont want to cut anything up.

i doubt you will find something plug and play. The bulbs and harnesses to stock HIDs are totally different than halogen.

no, they will not be plug n play.. ive seen what an integra headlight looks like opened up, and i dont think that would be an easy swap, even for the guys who do a lot of retrofits..

Any company that claims that "blue" or colored bulbs provide better visibility shows lack of lighting knowledge. I would be skeptical in their claims and would most likely not purchase from them.

"Want to be different? Upgrading to Rainbow Blue is nothing short of enlightening. Not only will your car get noticed, you'll have improved visibility. "

Catz has had double charged Xenon bulbs for a long time now. Not to mention they are of much higher quality.

Finally, site mentions:

"MotionR is only manufacturers to have “exclusivity” to this unique and patent pending coating process"

This is BS (also fix your damn grammar. It is a business website, you should have checked all your grammar before publishing it). Just because there is a patent pending, does not mean crap. This just means a patent application has been submitted. I am willing to bet that as soon as the patent examiner reads the application, it will be rejected.

Can you post a picture of the beam pattern?

Is it plug and play or modifications needed to fit?

What happened? I could of sworn you were going to do the retrofit in your Integra. Something go wrong?

I was, but I never got around to doing it due to time constraints. I am doing the JDM conversion now, so I am trying to find the OEM HID headlights.

No, you have to open your headlights and swap the projectors, definitely not plug and play. It is easy to drop your bumper and take your headlights out. You heat them in the oven for 2-5 minutes at 220F and then you can seperate the plastic lens from the rest of the housing. This allows you to get to the projectors inside
