OT: anyone know how anodized rims are made ?
was just wondering because ive always
'd the way mugen and volk rims look in that anodized bronze, its looks as tho the metal itself is bronze instead of it being painted bronze, im thinking its a chemical reaction (dont know why).
anyone have any ideas as to how this is done ?

anodizing is basically coloring the oxidized coating on aluminum using hi and low temp. electrical currents, water and certain acids. wow, i just sounded like Mr. Wizard.
volk wheels are painted. the only wheels i'm aware of that are anodized are spoon wheels.
