I was just wondering if i got a testpipe or carsound catalytic converter will i still be able to pass smog?

 

in california, testpipe, no. carsound cat, maybe.

 

Best if you take the test with your stock cat.

Test pipe is illegal in CA.

 

Carsound are advertised 50 state legal, if you wanted to pass smog you got a better chance by going with the carsound. Common sense you're going to fail with a test pipe.

 

You better have a lot of doh to pay the referee to pass smog with a testpipe and carsound catalytic converter. Especially in cali...good luck!

Thanks for the replys....When i got the car it had a gutted out cat. But now my registration is coming up and i need to get my car smogged. So no matter what i got to buy a cat, so just wondering what i should buy, a stock cat or a car sound one. But i guess i'd better get a stock one....

 

I would recommend a stock one or aftermarkt "stock" one.
