How expensive is it to fix forged rims?
What's up,
I'm going to get a set of Volk Daytona Speeds for a good price from a friend, but one of the rims outer lip is dented. Since it's a two piece wheel I was thinking to just buy a new outer lip, but a distributor told me it would probably be about 40 percent of the cost of a new rim. That's cool but since this rim retails for about 500 dollars it's not an option for me haha. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has heard of forged rims being fixed, and if so what are some good shops in So Cal? Also does it cost more? My friend got a quote for 135. Anyways thanks!
