It got locked in the best buys too, maybe we should post here? There was a similar thread in this forum about OEM Wings West kits and it wasn't locked.

I got a set of 8000k phillips hids from http://www.autotoys.com for I think $435. It was a plug and play kit, but if you get this kit you have to switch the pos and neg leads in order to make them work, I guess it's a 9006 universaaaaal kit.

That sounds dangerous. I wouldn't trust anything that tells you to swap neg and pos feeds...

Thanks to ebelp for the headsup on this thread.

If you guys want i can try to setup a groupbuy with the Xenon Depot kit (Philips Bulbs and Ballasts! complete wiring harness with two relays and two fuses. H4 bulbs have the reflector too!)

What are the details on the last groupbuy you guys had?

Let me know!

I had responded to another HID thread, but this one is better since it shows how many people are actually interested.

Once again Someone please let me know what the details on the last groupbuy was and i will see what i can do!

For more info on the Xenon Depot kit check out: http://www.xenondepot.com

Also check out ClubRSX.com as Xenon Depot sells to them !

www.liteswap.com is always open for Catz GB's according to their website. All we need is 5 participants. Supposedly, their GB price for the 4500k kit is $430, and the 5500k kit is $490. I'd really rather have one of Trevor's Philips kits, but there's no telling when he'll do another GB.

It was a matter of the connector fiting correctly so the pos would match the pos and the neg to the neg. I didn't switch the polarity, it's a dc circuit, it wouldn't work if I had not done this.

He probably wont be. I have learned that Philips will no longer be supplying the aftermarket. Too many companies abusing their name I think.

Hehe...that's what I told him. Don't worry, I've been keeping in touch with Trevor, and another GB is in the works.
