Default Import Builders: modified 2.5 collector of JG or DC 421 header

I just heard that they are making ( maybe they've been doing it for a while now but who knows ) a modified DC or JG header w/ a 2.5 collector, and its supposed to make great midrange ( 421 ) but also great high end ( 2.5 collector ) I really need some more information ( not just 'go to importbuilders.com' ) on these contraptions. Pictures, info, dyno anything is great. Thanks.

from what i heard, the 2.5 in collector will make most of its power in the higher rev range...... not really all that necessary if your motor is not built. it will definitely help with drag racing, but if you are a auto crosser, than stick with the 2.25.

if you have for instance a DC 4-2-1 or a 4-1 header and take it to IB, it costs about $90 for converting it to a 2.5in collector(shipping extra)....i e-mailed them and asked about 2~3weeks ago...it was Jeff(the owner of IB) who e-mailed me back with the price.....

Jeff is the man. I've seen one of them at ib and they are solid, you won't be disappointed.

from more than two people on this board it has been said that over 10hp midrange was gained w/ the JG modded header over the JDM ITR header..and a lil more top end as well.

yeah, but did you compare both of those 2.5 in collector headers to the regular 4-2-1 headers with 2.25 in collector headers?? the regular 4-2-1's will probably make more power up to about 6000rpm, what i'm saying is that unless your gonna rev the **** out of your motor or have plenty of $$$, it's not a bad idea to stick with 2.25 in.
