i suppose it would be cheaper to mod than a B and if you blew your C block you could drop in a D for pretty cheap money to get you mobile again, or a used car lot could drop one in and sell it to some sucker who didnt know the difference

i knew a guy that had one in a gsr....but he baught the car at auction for like 500 so the only motor he had at the time was a sohc ,and boy did it look funny

I've seen some guy at my mechanics shop with a D series motor in his G3. i asked why did he put the D motor in his car when the B motor was more better. the own said it was a cheap alternative while his motor was being built for BOOOOOOST! was weird at first, but he did have a point. you can buy a complete D series longblock for under $500.

y0 B2... there was a pic floating around HT a long time ago of a green teg.. G3 body style with SOHC. it was said to be 4wd too... but hey, that was a while back. dont know if it was a fake.

yep no surprise to me, i remember my first time seeing a sohc zc in a g3 4 door, i was over seas in the P.I. at a car show LOL!!! this guy had a jdm front end on it w/ championship white paint

I believe all (or at least most) single cam d-series are badged ZC in Japan. Then there's the dual cam ZC as well.

3rd Gen. Integra came w/ a single cam in japan. 4WD as well, like someone else mentioned. Give me 10 minutes and I'll scan/upload a pic I have.
