For those with Falken Azenis
I want to purchase a set of Falken Azenis tires, but I do not really know much about them. I know that they have bad *** grip and is perferred by auto crossers. I do auto crossing some times but not that often.
Here are my questions:
1. How many miles will they last me daily driving with out racing?
2. What is the wet traction on them like?
3. Is there alot of road noise?
4. Would these make good daily driving tires?
5. Are you using these for your daily drivers and whats your opinion?
I am planning on running 205/50/15's. These are going to be daily driven. Some imput would greatly help me and appriciated.
Thanks.

I've heard nothing but praise to the Falken Azeni tire. A very good tire for the price
Only complaint from people is that they don't last long, but at that price, just buy some more.

1) If you rotate, balance, and align your car properly, you can probably expect 15-20k (pretty broad range, really depends on habits)
2) Ive ran them before, never in rain, I hear they suck.
3) Yes, they were louder than my Michelins. Theoretically, they are a loud tire because the tread blocks are the same size. They are not staggered in size, which prevent road noise.
4) For the dollar, yup!!
5) They are awesome tires. Best results are found when mounting to a 7" width wheel.

1. How many miles will they last me daily driving with out racing?
Daily driving with lowered susp 10-15k miles
stock suspension 15-20k miles
2. What is the wet traction on them like?
Poor in wet, ok in damp.
3. Is there alot of road noise?
Yes, wide blocks and stiff sidewalls. Plus they pick up a lot of gravel/water
4. Would these make good daily driving tires?
Considering the price and assuming that you like to drive spiritedly and go to the auto-x's here and there; yes. If you are all about the bling bling; no
5. Are you using these for your daily drivers and whats your opinion?
Yes, they offer excellent dry traction and poor wet handling. When I mean wet, I mean constant rain. I would recommend for the daily driver them since my suspension is stock, they are cheap, are easy to find in my size (195/60R14) and I occasionally auto-x.
These are on my Civic whereas my ITR has S0-3's.

I had 205 azenis on 15x6 wheels on my civic. It weighed around 2200 with me in it, and was lowered about 1.75-2" in front, and 1.25-1.5" in the back with tokico "coilovers" and no camber correction. Around 2 degrees of negative camber front and -1.5ish back. Dry traction was phenomenal and wet traction was surprising to say the least. I drove 150 miles in constant downpour on slick blacktop on the PA turnpike. I couldn't see 15 feet in front of me the entire time. I didn't hydroplane once the entire trip. Only problem in the rain is when there's a dry patch or a patch of pavement a different surface than the rest of the road, because the tires will grab that piece and pull your car that direction. Road noise is not something you should worry about with tires like this. If you don't like noise, you shouldn't be driving an ARRRRR. The tires do grab anything and everything loose on the ground, so you might want to make sure you have mudflaps on your car. The tires were only 4 or 5 months old when my car was stolen, so I can't really report wear, since all of those miles were light daily driving.

Azenis are the best all around tire for the money in my opinion
They have some road noise, but it's not unbearable. I have found mine to be a little slick in rain.

Azenis
I don't think the Azenis are any different that any other high performance tire.
I run them as daily drivers, and for the most part they are fine in the NW rain we get. They only time I have issues is when it's REALLY raining. I have a friend who run's S-03's, and has the same problem.
What tires are you running now?

we at discount charge like 30 each for 15's i usually do it for free for my frineds on my day off... now you'd better make sure that the person mounting the tires knows what they are doing because the azenis have very stiff sidewalls and if you dont know what you are doing to will rip the bead and ruin the tire.. now if you buy them from discount direct its 15 each at a discount tire.. but if you go to the store you might save money
