Default Best material to clean gauge cluster lens with?

I need to clean my gauge cluster lens. It is brand new, no scratches, just a few finger prints on it and such. I know that the plastic scratches extremely easy. I was just wondering what the bester material to clean this surface is. Also do you use a special cleaner or just water? I would prefer to use just water.

Thanks,
Jake

Uhhh, I'd stay away from Armor-All on clear plastic. I got overspray on my guage cluster and when I wiped it away a few hours later, it ended up deteriorating the clear plastic and made it hazy in those spots.

I had to use Mequiars cleaner/wax to get it off. The "Cleaner"/wax is slightly abrasive and removes such stains.

I would just use windex or 20/20 glass cleaner for tinted windows and a very soft cloth to clean it though if it's new.

ive always used just warm water and a soft towel...but i dont get alot of finger prints on it much. but it wont scratch anything..make sure the towel is super soft.

Coton underwear works great hehhee

I'm about to clean my GSR cluster that I have installed. Going to use windex!

I can't see armorall being effective on the plastic cover. Do you use armorall to clean your windows? Same concept, right?

Back I still have little scratch marks that look almost like swirls on paint that are real noticeable when the sun hits the lens Any advice?

use a baby's diaper. its soft enough to not scratch the plastic.

Don't use Armor All it screwed my old RX-7s gauge, turned it spotty with the over spray. Use something soft and Windex

I use old undershirts for stuff that can scratch easily. they usually get soft as hell when they are old.
