new to civics, help please

Default new to civics, help please

i'm looking for the 1990 body style of the hatch civic and was wondering what years is also included in that style and how much i would expect to pay for one thats unmodded (just need a car to get around now) but i'll end up going for looks n' ****. if you tell me to do a search, what should i search for?

The years are from 88-91 and are known as 4 generation civics. They came as either a CRX, Hatchback, Sedan (4dr), or Wagon. You'll see a lot of people referring to them as "EF" which is the chasis code for the Japenese 4th generation civics. The USDM chasis code is actually "ED".

On price, I would say anywhere from $500 on up to $2500 or even $3k, odviously depending on condition. You might refer to the Kelly Blue Book.

thanks for that. also, what kind of engine does it have? a 1.6 non-vtec? all i know about really are integras cuz i had the gsr. any info is appreciated

A CRX isn't a Civic, the 88-91 CRX is a 2G CRX, not a 4G.
