I'm rebuilding my B18C motor, while identifying the Crank & Rod bearing, I found the color on the bearing came off for the con rod.
My friend pass me the service manual for B18C GSR motor and found the identification list have some different with the figure for R motor.
The big end bore code for GSR is 1-4 but my R rod stamp as 24, any people got the R identification list?

 

whats the code on the crank?
you need the letter off the crank to go with the corresponding rod.

 

Finally, I got the numbers,
The numbers on the rod are all "24" (all four are)
The Crank marking is "W" "X" & "Z"
If match the number on rod, what color of rod bearing should be? I don't have the table for the R engine..................

 

Anyone can help?........................

 

You are missing one letter, should be 4 letters

W24 = Green/Brown
W24 = Green/Brown
X24 = Brown/Brown
Z24 = Black/Black

A thousand thx to Junior R.
One missing cos 2 in W, 1 in X & 1 in Z.
My engine imported from Japan, so local dealer don't have the service manual for R engine.

Your answer really help much cos my short block is waiting the rod bearing to start assembly.
Appreciate for tons of readings from Honda-tech members so I can have my engine re-build and my engine set up.
