i got some rear speaker panels/brackets how do i install the brackets? it has no instructons. thanks

well there are two screws that go just to the left on the speaker bracket...
now what model is your hatch? si's had a bar that the speaker brackets mount on
now that the two screws are on...now there are two holes at the very top part of the bracket insert it and fasten it down with two nuts.

i have a cx, thnaks im gonna check and see if i have that peice the si does

 

it probably won't it's a CX. Honda was soooooooo cheap with the poor CX, it's light tho! good luck with your CX.

 

Yeah, so cheap. That car didnt come with a clock or a radio, nevermind a bracket for some speakers!!

i got em off a fellow honda-tech member, he had grey ones which match my interior. but http://www.manchesterhonda.com has em in black!

those speaker brackets were the best thing i ever bought for my car. Makes it sound so much better.

 

nice! i cant wait till i get some speakers in there now, i still don't know for sure what size there made for. is it 5 1/4? and is it possible too fit bigger ones in there? like 6's or something?

 

i'ved had 5 1/4 and 6 1/2 on the rears...your choice.

I have pioneer 6 x 9's . B18civichb and myself cut some surrounds out of wood, padded them, tapped em, made em sit right and his car puts out some badass sound

 

You can install either 6.5 or 5.25 speakers, the speaker mounting holes are the same on those speakers, just that the 5.25 has a smaller basket.
Go 6.5 like in the doors.
